About Us.

Healthy Habits is a community-rooted movement making wellness make sense through fitness, nutrition, health education, and community. Guided by culturally relevant practices and community leadership, we are building healthier futures across generations, one program at a time. Healthy Habits is a Pennsylvania-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations directly support our wellness, movement, and education programs and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. As we grow, Healthy Habits plans to expand into financial health and literacy programming, further supporting the full circle of wellness for the communities we serve.

Our History

Healthy Habits began in 2021 as a community-led initiative launched through our family’s training business, Coach Keem Fitness. What started as youth fitness challenges and family wellness sessions quickly evolved into a model centered on movement, nutrition, and mentorshipesigned to support both youth and older adults.

By 2022–2023, our impact expanded through student health coaching, youth fitness programs, and community-wide classes. We saw firsthand how accessible, culturally relevant wellness experiences build confidence, strengthen families, and bring communities together.

In 2024, Healthy Habits partnered with Pittsburgh Public Schools and local organizations to deliver wellness programming for youth, while also launching our Senior Wellness Program to serve older adults through movement, connection, and community.

In 2025, we formalized our work as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, strengthening our foundation to expand and sustain our impact. Today, Healthy Habits operates as a community-driven organization dedicated to making wellness make sense for generations to come.
